We continue to evolve and grow

5/21/2018

Our May 2018 meeting at Hemingway Hall provided a wonderful brainstorming opportunity. Our members have spoken and we have listened. We like providing service, especially to our local community at large and to children. We have big plans to adopt a local school or classroom of underprivileged children. Our members want to be a force for positivity.

We will continue to host the Annual Veterans Day Breakfast event at Hemingway Hall and we have plans to include their families/spouses at the event. The event is planned for Saturday, November 10.

Read the minutes from the meeting.

We hope you will join us for our June 21, 2018 meeting at 10:30 at Hemingway Hall.

We are now official!

Your Boss Queens Rhonda and Lori have submitted all the necessary paperwork to our Creekside at Bethpage HOA and the Creekside Blue Belles have been approved by the HOA Board as a chartered club. We will have our event and club registration through Hemingway Hall Club Express. We also now have approved by-laws. We expect to open a club bank account very soon.

We have placed our first order for club t-shirts.  A few of our new members missed first t-shirt ordering deadline. Please don't worry if you missed the deadline, we plan to place another order in the very near future. We have selected royal blue t-shirts featuring our club logo. This made great sense: royal blue - because we are QUEENS and the darker color will make us look thinner!

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, October 19 beginning at 10:00 for social time. The official business portion of the meeting begins promptly at 10:30. Everyone in the community is welcome to join us. Please register on Club Express.  We have also reserved space at Relish in Raleigh for lunch afterwards. Please email Rhonda if you plan on joining us for lunch.

We look forward to a wonderful meeting and building a wonderful chapter of the Sweet Potato Queens.

What's it all about?

9/14/2017

We had our first official meeting of the Creekside Blue Belles today.  We had a wonderful time at the home of Boss Queen Rhonda.  We shared the informational video created by Boss Queen Lori, and what life is like as a Queen.  After our meeting, some of us went to lunch at Travinia in Morrisville.  It was a wonderful way to quick off our new chapter. We can't wait to welcome more members from our Creekside at Bethpage Community.  Our Creekside Blue Belle is mission is to celebrate sisterhood; support our charity, Camp Care-Free; have fun; and enjoy life. We know we have a beautiful future together.

Boss Queen Rhonda and Boss Queen Lori hope you enjoy the video montage below of photos from past Sweet Potato events attended by Boss Queen Rhonda. The music is by Kacey Jones' Album The Sweet Potato Queens' Big-Ass Box of Music.  When you read the book - you'll understand - "Be Particular"!
