Who We Are

We are a community service organization. Our members and volunteers are Creekside at Bethpage residents. We serve other non-profits in and around Durham, NC. 

Our project partners include Durham Children's Initiative, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Durham Public Schools and Habitat for Humanity. Currently approved agencies can request volunteers below.

Our Mission

  • Support, encourage, and advance educational and charitable programs related to education, children and our community at large
  • Promote projects that assist with the financial needs of our adopted school(s) or community organization(s)
  • Promote education, cooperation, and kindness within our community
New Community Partners

​New agencies can contact us via email to determine if Creekside Cares is the right partner for your 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  We focus our efforts on education, food insecurity, and underserved areas in and around Durham.
Creekside Cares is busy:
  • Our group was the 2020 Durham recipient of the Governor's Medallion Award for Volunteer Service
  • We were a 2019 Recipient of DPS Spark Advocate Award
  • We have donated 11,848 masks to charities since March 2020
  • We successfully hosted our first Habitat for Humanity Build Day in September 18, 2021, with another planned for October.
